Sailing Adventures Akaroa was established to provide you with an enjoyable time spent on the water.

A range of sailing options have been designed to meet your requirements.

• Sail flat or on a lean
• Sit back and relax or get involved. Helm the yacht, pull a rope or be an interested watcher.
• Have a lunch or  just come along for the ride

Sailing should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. It is our role to ensure you find just that.

Akaroa is a protected and scenic harbour. It is abundant with wildlife and famous for its Hector’s dolphins, the world’s smallest and rarest. There is a Penguin colony just out of the harbour and a seal colony at the harbour heads so both these are frequently sighted in the harbour. Gannats, Albatross and Pectrals use the volcanic cliffs to sour over the water in all their majesty.

There is a lot more to do than just touring the harbour, but let your trip start with a sailing experience.
